《肥胖評論》上的壹篇研究在整合了超 150 萬名兒童青少年的數據後發現，肥胖兒童青少年患非酒精性脂肪性肝病的風險，是體重正常同齡人的 26.1 倍，高血壓、哮喘等疾病的患病率也顯著升高 [ 12 ] 。
盡管肥胖 " 惡行累累 "，但放眼全世界，每壹代都在變得更胖。據世衛組織統計，從 1990 年到 2022 年，成人肥胖率增加了壹倍多，青少年肥胖率則增加了叁倍，肥胖總人數超過拾億 [ 13 ] 。
這樣的 " 肥胖循環 "，正如壹場沒有盡頭的接力賽，父母在給予愛的同時，也不慎將健康隱患的種子，壹同埋進孩子的未來。
他們此刻或許渾然不覺，但隨著長大成人，肥肉成了比陪伴更長情的存在。曾有人調侃 " 減肥就是壹直在路上 "，可要跑贏這場比賽，或許從來都不只是意志力的考驗。
