大學生的經濟壓力

隨著學費的連年上漲，加拿大大學生的經濟壓力越來越大。
加拿大政策選擇中心（Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives）的教育項目主任艾麗卡·沙克爾（ Erika Shaker）表示, 大學學費的增加對學生和他們的家庭來說都是“巨大的經濟壓力”，尤其是近些年來加拿大家庭的收入壹直處於停滯狀態。
最近有報道說，大學生們的債務越來越重，求助食品銀行的人數在不斷增加。
而在房地產價格飛漲的城市，大學生的負擔更重。
在溫哥華，今年8月當地媒體報道說，西蒙·弗雷澤大學 （Simon Fraser University）的壹名大學生因租不到價格合適的住處，變成了“無家可歸”者，在校園裡到處“打游擊”，有時在教室裡過夜。
