北美中文網報道：第25屆加拿大小型商業周(Small Business Week)將於10月17日至10月23日在全加范圍內舉行，該項活動是由BDC (Business Development Bank of Canada)舉辦的。今天的主題是：世界無疆界，打開新市場(A World Without Boundaries, Open to New Markets.)。

講話文稿為：Canada’s New Government and Western Economic Diversification Canada are strong supporters of Canada’s entrepreneurs.
Canadian businesses and entrepreneurs are the engine of our economy.
In Western Canada, our engines are running harder and stronger as we entered another year of unprecedented economic development.
This growth CREAtes tremendous opportunities and also generates some challenges for the small business community.
The theme of this year’s Small Business Week, “A World Without Boundaries, Open To New Markets” gives a strong sense of the global action available to our entrepreneurs.
One of the challenges Western Canada has experienced while adjusting to these huge business opportunities is attracting and retaining employees in an economy experiencing a labour shortage.
Western small businesses have risen to the challenge by using productive and innovative recruitment and retention strategies.
The result is growth in the West that ensures a prosperous future.
Congratulations to our business leaders and talented entrepreneurs as we celebrate your success during Small Business Week 2007.
