印尼國家搜救總署（National Search and Rescue Agency）官員布拉曼裘（Yudhi Bramantyo）告訴媒體，救難人員今天在學校的淨身區發現兩名遭碎片擊中的男學生遺體，「因此已尋獲的罹難者總數為7人」。
泗水（Surabaya）搜救辦公室主任席吉特（Nanang Sigit）稍後告訴媒體，救難人員今天又在距上述兩具遺體不遠處發現壹名罹難者，死亡人數因此增至8人。
官員在找到這3具遺體前曾說，恐怕有59人失聯。
