巴蒂羅莫周贰於白宮外表示，當天的訪問進行順利，川普談及經濟、伊朗戰爭以及北約等議題，並補充說：“我對總統說：『您壹直談論這場戰爭，就好像它已經是過去式了。』我問他：『戰爭結束了嗎？』（' I said, 'Is it over?' ）他說：『結束了。（He said, 'It's over.）』”
