全球最大的連鎖速食業者麥當勞(McDonald's)，早已深入世界各地，成為許多人生活中不可或缺的壹部分。72年前(西元1940年)，當時的麥當勞剛剛開業，只是壹個在加州聖伯納帝諾(San Bernardino)賣烤肉與漢堡的小攤販，壹個牛肉漢堡只賣15美分(以現在幣值約台幣4.5元)。
壹批珍貴的照片曝光，可以讓現代人看看，1940年剛創業的麥當勞，是個什麼樣的餐廳，拾分有趣。現在這家創始店，已經成為麥當勞博物館。
