BC家長聯盟微信群目前發表請願書，全文如下
根據BC省《教育法》，受教育是學生的基本權利，如今卻被剝奪了。由於教師罷工，有伍拾萬公校學生被關在校門之外，這對所有公校學生和家長來說，包括對國際生來說，在心靈和經濟上都造成了嚴重的傷害。
學生優先，教育優先。我們真誠盼望教聯應盡快停止罷工，先讓學生們和老師們重返課堂。請不要繼續把學生作為談判的籌碼，不要讓想教書的教師沒有書可教，不要讓想上課的孩子沒有課可上。
我們尊重教師們真實合理地提出訴求，但是請在不影響學生們受教育的時期與政府進行磋商。
請重視我們的訴求！

Dear BCTF:
According to BC’s School Act, it is a basic right for students to receive education. Unfortunately, this right has been deprived. Because of the teachers’ strike, more than 500,000 students have been locked out of school, which has been hurting the heart of all the students and parents and incurring great loss to them financially, including the international students.
Students first! Education first! We sincerely hope that BCTF should end the strike immediately, that BCTF should let students and teachers return to school. Please stop using the students as pawns. Don’t let the teachers that want to teach have no one to teach! Don’t let the students that are eager to learn have no school to go to.
We respect teachers to raise their requests truthfully and reasonably. However, those requests should be negotiated with the government during a convenient period that does not hinder the students from receiving education.
Please respect our requests!
