美國加利福尼亞州南部洛杉磯縣馬利布（Malibu）地區12月9日晚發生山火，火勢迅速蔓延，波及荷裡活名人的住所。截至10日晚，過火面積已超1100公頃，近兩萬人被疏散，火災造成壹些建築物損毀，目前暫無人員傷亡報告。
曾參演《歡樂滿人間》、過2天便滿99歲的荷裡活資深影星狄雲戴（Dick Van Dyke）在Facebook稱，自己是被迫逃離的明星之壹，他和妻子帶著寵物安全離開，除了壹只名叫波波的貓，它仍然失蹤。
狄雲戴稱，自己希望波波安全無恙。
馬利布深受名人歡迎，Lady Gaga、Beyonce和Jay Z等明星的住宅也在疏散區之列。
根據《紐約時報》，歌手雪兒（Cher）也得逃離火場。美國天後、著名荷裡活女星芭芭拉史翠珊（Barbra Streisand）也是馬利布居民，但目前尚不清楚她是否已撤離。
加州林業和消防局説，這場山火在大風助長下持續蔓延，超過1500名消防員在現場全力撲救。但山地陡峭崎嶇，強風和低濕度條件又加劇了山火燃燒，消防員面臨嚴峻挑戰。截至10日晚，仍無法有效控制山火。
洛杉磯縣警方説，超過1.8萬居民被緊急疏散，8000多座建築面臨火災危險，已有數萬用戶的電力供應中斷。
