美國密歇根州（Michigan）東部壹座教堂於當地周日（9月28日）發生槍擊和起火。警方表示，40歲槍手駕車沖破教堂的前門，下車後開槍射擊，並攜帶突擊武器。當時教堂內有數百人，而這輛車撞上教堂後，教堂起火。
美國總統特朗普（Donald Trump，又譯川普） 在社交平台發文稱，這次槍擊「似乎是又壹宗針對美國基督徒的襲擊」，並表示聯邦調查局已抵達現場，揚言國內的暴力猖獗必須立即結束。
