The Justice Department on Saturday evening filed a notice that it willformally appeal a federal judge's ruling halting President Trump'simmigration order.
Justice Department Attorney Michelle Bennett's filing was made in responseto a temporary nationwide restraining order issued Friday that halted Trump's executive order banning citizens of seven countries from entering theUnited States.
